This is a very strong description of what a tribute speech is. It is very important to make sure all the elements are included in a tribute speech. I won't re phrase everything that you said about the elements because I think that you covered the elements. You made a good point about the fact that you can pay tribute to anyone either dead or alive real or fictional. I feel people sometimes feel a tribute must be made to a certain type of person but that is not the case so I appreciate you pointed that out.
